§ 13.1. Florida Building Code Adopted.

The Florida Building Code Sixth Edition (2017) as updated by the Florida Building Commission on April 4, 2017, May 12, 2017, and June 13, 2017, and adopted by Rule 61G20-1.001, Florida Administrative Code, is hereby adopted as the building code of the City of Orlando, Florida. The adopted version of the building code is hereby incorporated into this section as if fully set forth herein, and may be cited to as the Orlando Building Code, Sixth Edition (2017). All references to the "building code" within the Orlando City Code, and within ordinances and resolutions of Council, shall be construed as referring to the building code adopted by this section.
