§ 18A.14. Notice of Rejection of Application for Permit.
The Chief of Police shall act promptly upon a timely filed, fully completed application for a permit, but in no event less than seventy-two (72) hours prior to the event, or within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the application, whichever is later, excluding holidays and weekends. If the Chief of Police disapproves the application, the applicant shall be promptly notified either orally or in writing and the notice shall set forth the reasons for the denial of the permit.
