§ 24.31. Additions to NFPA 1, Chapter 19 Combustible Waste and Refuse.
NFPA 1, Chapter 19 is adopted in its entirety with the following additions:
(a)
Add to Section 19.1.
(1)
Roofs, courts, yards, vacant lots, vacant buildings, and open spaces shall be kept free and clear of deposits or accumulations of waste paper, hay, grass, straw, weeds, litter or combustible waste or rubbish of any kind. All weeds, grass, vines or other growth, when same endangers property or is liable to be fired, shall be cut down and removed by the owner or occupant of the property.
(2)
All combustible rubbish, oily rags or waste material when kept within a building, shall be securely stored in metal or metal-lined receptacles equipped with tight-fitting covers or in rooms or vaults constructed of non-combustible materials.
(3)
It shall be unlawful to accumulate or store combustible waste matter beneath trailers or at any other place within a trailer camp or mobile home park.
