§ 27.02. Gambling Houses—Keeping or Maintaining.

No person shall have, keep, operate or maintain a gambling table or room or gambling implement, apparatus, or device, or any house, booth, tent, shelter or other place for the purpose of gaming or gambling, or in any such place of which he shall, directly or indirectly, have charge, control or management, either exclusively or with others, procure, suffer or permit any person to play for money or other valuable thing at any game whatsoever, whether the game shall be prohibited or not.
