§ 2.02. Terms of Office.

Latest version.

The terms of Office of the Mayor and Commissioners shall be for such period as may be fixed by law. Terms of all other officers shall be for one year commencing at the first regular meeting of the City Council in October of each year, and until their successors shall be appointed and qualified, except as otherwise provided by general or special law.
