§ 2.15. Assistants.

  • One or more Assistant City Attorneys may be appointed by the Mayor. Any or all such assistants may act in the absence of the City Attorney and shall perform such duties and functions as may be assigned to them by the City Attorney or the Mayor and/or City Council. In addition, the City Prosecutor and the Police Legal Advisor hereby are authorized to act in the capacity of an Assistant City Attorney in the prosecution or defense of such civil actions brought by or against the City as may be deemed advisable and authorized by the City Attorney.
