§ 2.112. Definitions.

(1)

Boards consist of those groups created by ordinance by the Orlando City Council to provide citizen input, advice and recommendations to the Mayor and City Council, and to perform certain public services and functions where charged. The provisions of this article shall apply to all such boards unless otherwise provided for in other sections of this Code governing specific boards, special acts of the legislature or by Florida Statute.

For the purpose of this article, "Multi-jurisdictional Board" shall mean any board on which the City has the right to appoint one or more members, but which is not created by City ordinance.

For the purpose of this article the word "citizen" shall mean an individual not employed by the City.
