§ 2.114. Requirements for Membership.
(1)
The primary consideration for appointment of citizens to a board shall be providing the board with the expertise necessary for it to accomplish its objective as established by ordinance.
(2)
All citizens appointed to boards shall be required to file such financial disclosure statements as may be required by the general laws of Florida.
(3)
The majority of citizens appointed to any given board shall be residents of the City of Orlando. In addition, the citizen membership of any given board should reflect the racial, ethnic and cultural composition of the community.
(4)
Any citizen appointed to serve on a board should have a reputation for integrity and community service as well as having interest or experience in the area of service to be provided by the board.
(5)
This section shall be applicable to all citizens serving on Multi-jurisdictional Boards on behalf of the City.
