Article V. STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING |
Division 1. IN GENERAL |
§ 39.22. Parking for Certain Purposes Prohibited.
No person shall stand or park a vehicle:
(1)
Upon a public or private street, public parking lot or any other public property for the purpose and intent of displaying such vehicle thereon for sale, hire, or rental;
(2)
Upon any public or private street, public parking lot or any other public property for the purpose of painting, greasing or repairing such vehicle, except repairs necessitated by an emergency;
(3)
Upon any public or private street, public parking lot or any other public property for the purpose of washing or polishing such vehicle or any part thereof unless approved by the Parking Bureau Chief;
(4)
Upon any public or private street, public parking lot or any other public property for the purpose of displaying advertising;
(5)
Upon any public or private street, public parking lot or any other public property for the purpose of selling merchandise from the motor vehicle, except in a duly established marketplace or when so authorized or licensed under the laws of the City.
