§ 39.39. Construction of Meters.

Parking meters shall be placed or set in such a manner as to show or display by a signal that the parking space regulated or controlled by such meter is legally in use. Parking meters installed shall indicate by proper legend the legal parking time established by the City and when operated shall indicate by its dial or indicator the duration of the period of legal parking time and on the expiration of such period shall indicate illegal or overtime parking.
