§ 39.48. Injuring or Tampering With Meter.

It shall be unlawful and a violation of the provisions of this division for any person to deface, injure, tamper with, open, willfully break, destroy or impair the usefulness of any parking meter installed under the provisions of this division. Any person violating this section shall be subject to the penalty as provided in Section 1.08 of this Code.
