§ 58.250. Relationship to the Growth Management Plan.

The MXD-1 district implements GMP Urban Design Goal 1, Objective 1.1 and Policy 1.1.1,
to protect and enhance the positive design elements of the Traditional City; Future
Land Use Objective 2.4, to encourage development to achieve a mixture of land uses;
Land Use Policy S.14.6 and Downtown Policy 2.3.12, to permit residential and mixed
office-residential development at a size, scale and character similar to nearby residences;
and Housing Objective 1.1, to preserve, upgrade and extend the life of the existing
housing stock. The MXD-1 district implements the Residential-Medium Intensity category
of the Future Land Use Map Series.
