Every part of a required yard shall be open from its lowest point to the sky except
for that portion occupied by permitted accessory structures, trees and shrubs, and
the ordinary projection of sills, belt courses, cornices, buttresses, fire escapes,
outside stairways, ornamental features, chimneys, flues and wall-mounted air conditioners;
however, such projections shall not extend more than 24 inches into said yard.
