§ 61.230. Purpose of Private Street Requirements.

The standards for Private Streets set forth in this Part are intended to ensure that such streets will be adequate in location, design and construction to safely carry the traffic movement and volume which may be expected to use them; that such street will not interfere with the completion of officially proposed City drainage, streets or other public facilities; and that their original construction and design will be such as not to hinder their future conversion to public streets, if deemed by the city to be in the public interest.
