§ 65.271. Review and Approval Procedure.
Review and approval of Building Permits shall be in accordance with the Orlando Building Code (Chapter 13 of the City Code).
No application for a Building Permit shall be approved by the Building Official for any building, structure or addition on any lot in violation of this Chapter or not in compliance with any provisions of this Chapter, or for any development which is inconsistent with the City's adopted Growth Management Plan.
Determination of Zoning Compliance. Prior to the issuance of any building permit for new construction, or repairs or alterations to a building or structure, the Zoning Official or designee shall inform the Building Official of the applicant's compliance with the provisions of this Chapter. An accurate record of the original copy of the drawing submitted shall be maintained in the office of the Building Official and a duplicate copy shall be retained on the building site at all times during construction.
Field Zoning Approvals. Upon completion of any new construction or repairs or alterations the Zoning Official or designee shall inform the Building Official of his final approval and acceptance.
