§ 65.434. Effect of Subdivision Approval.

(A)

Upon approval of the Preliminary Subdivision by City Council or City staff, an application for Final plat shall be submitted pursuant to Section 3F herein. Approval of the proposed Preliminary Subdivision does not vest any right to development of the property, nor does it create any entitlement to or guarantee of City Council approval of the Final plat.

(B)

Upon approval of the Major or Minor plat by the City Council pursuant to Section 3F, the plat shall be forwarded to the Mayor, City Clerk, Planning Official, City Surveyor, and City Engineer for signature. The City Engineer, or his or her designee, shall then record the signed plat in accordance with State law at the applicant's expense.
