§ 65.483. Considerations in the Review of Land Development Code Amendments.  


Latest version.
  • In its review of a proposed Land Development Code amendment, the City Council shall consider the following:

    Growth Management Plan. Whether the proposed amendment is consistent with the Growth Management Plan.

    Public Interest. Whether the proposed amendment is consistent with the public health, safety, and welfare.

    Land Use Compatibility. Whether the proposed amendment would result in compatible or incompatible land uses.

    Orderly Development. Whether the proposed amendment will likely result in orderly and logical development patterns.

    Law. Whether the proposed amendment would result in conflicts with applicable law or would present unacceptable legal risks to the City of Orlando.

    Other Matters. Any other lawful matters that they may deem appropriate.
