§ 65.633. Appeal to City Council.

  • (a)

    Appeals to a decision of the FPRC shall be filed in writing with the City Clerk within thirty (30) days of the Committee's decision.

    (b)

    Within thirty (30) days of the filing of an appeal with the City Clerk, the City Council shall hold a public hearing to determine whether the actions of the FPRC are in conformity with the terms of this Part. Upon a finding that the actions of the FPRC are not justified the City Council may, consistent with the terms of this Part, reverse, wholly or in part, or modify the decisions appealed. The City Council may attach such conditions and safeguards as it deems necessary to further the purposes the Floodplain Regulations. The decision of the City Council shall be final.
