§ 16. Disposal of Proceeds of Sale.

All moneys received from any such sale as herein provided of abandoned automobiles, trucks, motorcycles or other motor vehicles shall be disposed of as follows:

All expenses of taking up and seizing any such automobile, truck, motorcycle or other motor vehicle, together with advertising for the owner, cost of proceedings to forfeit, and all costs and expenses, shall first be paid, and the remainder shall be delivered to the City of Orlando to be held for a period of one (1) year, and if the owner of said property forfeited shall claim such amount, same shall be paid over to him, and after the expiration of said one (1) year, same shall be paid into the general fund of the City of Orlando, and all persons after that time shall be barred from any claim to any such sum.
