§ 60.3. Authority of City Council as to Additional Pay to Members of Departments.

Notwithstanding the provisions of the general and special laws of Florida pertaining to Civil Service of the City of Orlando, the City Council of said City shall have the power and authority to provide for additional pay to members of the same grade based upon length of service within departments of the City subject to provisions of the Civil Service Law. In the event that the City Council shall provide for additional pay based upon length of service, all persons under Civil Service of said City having such length of service shall be eligible for such additional pay where applicable within each grade.
