§ 14. Liberal Construction and Severability.
Latest version.
The provisions of this act, being desirable for the welfare of the City and its inhabitants, shall be liberally construed to effectuate the purpose herein set forth, and are severable. Should any portion hereof be held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, each other portion shall remain effective.
