§ 24-1. Compilation and Publication of Supplements to Code.

  • Whenever the City Council of the City of Orlando, Florida, shall deem it advisable, it shall make all necessary provisions for the compilation of all ordinances of general application of said City adopted by the City Council subsequent to the date of the last official complete codification and revision as herein provided; and such compilation may be published as a supplement to or by substitution and insertion within the then existing official codification of ordinances without the necessity of filing with the City Clerk an adopting resolution as required for complete codification and revision. Such supplement or method of substitution and insertion shall be numbered in such a manner as the City Council shall provide and shall be a part of the official code of ordinances of said City. The City Council is hereby authorized to make such corrections in style, spelling and/or numbering and related, nonsubstantive matters in ordinances to be included within the Code by the procedure hereby authorized, as the Council shall deem necessary for conformity with the existing Code, but any changes in content or effect or substantive revision of ordinances shall be made only by separate ordinances in the manner provided by law for the adoption of ordinances of the City of Orlando.
