§ 1. Extension of Time of Improvement Liens.

The City Council of the City of Orlando is hereby authorized and empowered, by resolution, to extend the time of payment for any or all improvement liens assessed or to be assessed pursuant to this Chapter or any other law or ordinance up to a maximum of twenty years from the date the lien was originally assessed, if it is specifically found by the City Council that to do so would alleviate any unnecessary hardships imposed on any or all property owners who are to pay for said improvement liens.
