§ 2.229. Discounts.

Neither the City, nor any private contractor providing emergency ground medical transport services pursuant to an agreement with the City, shall offer discounts from the established City ambulance rates, charges, and fees for calls dispatched by the City to any location within the City to any insurer, facility or other payer unless required to do so by law, except according to a written compassionate care plan approved by the City's Chief Financial Officer and on file with the City.
