§ 39.52. Stopping must be in Designated Areas; Exceptions.

No person shall at any time stop, stand or park any vehicle on any City off-street parking facility in any area other than those areas specifically designated by markings, signs or other devices as areas where parking is permitted, except that a driver may stop temporarily under such conditions as would require a reasonable and prudent driver to stop to avoid a collision with another vehicle or for the protection of human life or property or when necessary in obedience to a traffic regulation, sign, signal or a police officer.
