A tower that would be considered a communication tower but for the fact that it is
in excess of three hundred (300) feet in height shall be subject to Conditional Use
permit approval and shall comply with all other requirements of this chapter. For
the purposes of implementing the off-site separation requirements provided in section 58.844(a), the maximum required separation distance for communication towers in excess of
three hundred (300) feet in height shall be fifteen hundred (1,500) feet.
