Appendix 3B. LANDSCAPING FOR PARKING LOTS AND GARAGES |
§ 61.315. Landscaping Requirements for Parking Garages.
All parking garages shall meet the landscaping requirements of this Part, except as follows:
(a)
Perimeter Landscaping. Perimeter landscape areas shall be provided around all parking garages. Perimeter landscape areas for parking garages shall:
(1)
Have a minimum width of seven feet;
(2)
Be consistent with the landscape requirements for a Bufferyard "A";
(3)
Not be required adjacent to a street level non-residential use; and
(4)
Not be required along the portion of any parking garage that abuts a side or rear lot line when the minimum setback requirement is zero feet, except where the building site abuts a residential or office zoning district or a street right-of-way.
(b)
Façade Landscaping. Parking garages shall be designed to provide hanging baskets, landscape planters, green screens, art screens or flower boxes around the exterior.
