§ 65.124. Staff Support.

  • Executive Secretary. The Executive Director of the DDB, or his or her designee from City, DDB, or CRA staff, shall be the Executive Secretary of the ARB. The Executive Secretary must attend each meeting of the ARB and is primarily responsible for the effective operation of the ARB. The Executive Secretary is a nonvoting ex officio member of the ARB.

    Recording Secretary. The Executive Secretary shall appoint a member of City staff to be the Recording Secretary of the ARB. The Recording Secretary must attend each meeting of the ARB and is primarily responsible for keeping the records and papers of the ARB. The Recording Secretary must also perform other ARB duties as assigned by the Executive Secretary. The Recording Secretary is a nonvoting ex officio member of the ARB.

    Appearance Review Official. The Planning Official shall appoint a member of his or her staff to be the Appearance Review Official. The official shall be responsible for accepting, reviewing, and processing applications for certificates of appearance approval and for performing other duties as provided by this Chapter.

    Legal advice. The City Attorney may appoint one of his or her assistant attorneys to provide legal advice to the ARB.
