§ 65.595. Dredge and Fill Bond.
The applicant for a permit shall furnish a bond payable to the City. If the applicant is a contractor, the bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred per cent of the contract price of the contemplated dredging and fill. If the applicant is the owner of the property the bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred per cent of the estimated cost of the dredging and fill. The above estimate of cost shall be furnished by the owner and subject to approval by the City Engineer. The bond shall be issued by a responsible corporate surety company and shall insure the faithful performance and completion of the dredging and land fill operation in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter.
