§ 64.1. Same—Application of Laws and Ordinances to.

  • All ordinances of general application of the City of Orlando, heretofore or hereafter enacted under authority of the Charter of said City or any general or local act of the legislature pertaining to said City, be and the same is hereby established and determined to be of full force and effect on any and all land and property owned or controlled by the City of Orlando located outside the corporate limits of said City, and the said City is hereby authorized and empowered to enforce such ordinances in the same manner as if such land were located within such corporate limits. Further, the City of Orlando is hereby authorized and empowered to enforce the laws of the State of Florida, including misdemeanor and felony laws, on any and all land and property owned or controlled by the City of Orlando located outside the corporate limits of said City and to that end the policy department of said City shall have the authority to enforce said laws of the State of Florida and to investigate and make arrests for violations of said laws on such property.
