§ 1-1. Authority to Exempt Personal Property from Taxation; Filing of Returns.

The City Council of the City of Orlando is hereby authorized within its discretion to adopt a municipal ordinance exempting personal property from ad valorem taxes for municipal purposes. It shall also be discretionary with said City Council as to whether or not the filing of personal property tax returns shall be required.
