Article XXXIV. MENNELLO MUSEUM OF AMERICAN ART BOARD OF TRUSTEES |
§ 2.222. Powers and Duties.
The Mennello Museum of American Art Board of Trustees shall have the following powers and duties:
(1)
To adopt such rules of procedure as are necessary for the operation of the Board, provided they are consistent with the policies and ordinances of the City of Orlando and the laws of the State of Florida.
(2)
To create committees as the Board deems appropriate, subject to approval by the Mayor.
(3)
To advise the Mayor and City Council for the development and operation of the Mennello Museum of American Art and make appropriate recommendations to the Mayor and City Council.
(4)
To suggest policies for the proper operation, management and maintenance of the Mennello Museum of American Art to be adopted by the City.
(5)
To prepare and file with the City Council an annual report pertaining to the operations and activities of the Mennello Museum of American Art during the preceding year.
(6)
To perform all powers and duties in compliance with the agreement establishing the Mennello Museum of American Art entered into between the City and Michael A. Mennello and Marilyn Logsdon Mennello and any amendments thereto.
(7)
To perform such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the City Council.
