Chapter 39. ORLANDO TRAFFIC AND PARKING CODE |
Article III. TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING BUREAU |
§ 39.07. Duties Generally.
(1)
It shall be the general duty of the Transportation Engineering Bureau Chief to determine the installation and proper timing and maintenance of traffic-control devices, to conduct engineering analyses of accidents and to devise remedial measures, to conduct engineering investigation of traffic conditions and to cooperate with other City officials in the development of ways and means to improve traffic conditions.
(2)
The Transportation Engineering Bureau Chief shall prepare annually a traffic safety report which shall contain the number of traffic accidents, the number of persons killed or injured, and other pertinent traffic accident data as well as plans and recommendations for future traffic safety activities.
