§ 65.603. Construction, Repair or Alteration on Privately Owned Streets, Roadways or Parking Lots.

  • All persons desiring to construct, reconstruct, repair, alter or grade any improved or unimproved property which is proposed or intended to be used for a private street or drive with access to public property, a parking lot or for parking or storage areas shall first obtain an Engineering Permit from the City Engineer. Provided, however, that the provisions of this Section are not applicable to construction, repair or alteration of parking or storage areas of driveways on property used for single family residential purposes where no alteration is made to the location of the access to public property. The City Engineer shall approve the plans for compliance with all provisions of this Chapter, the City Code and all other laws and regulations in force and effect.

    Fee Required. The fee paid for such permit shall be established by City Council Resolution.
