§ 3. Right to Redeem from Tax Certificates.
City of Orlando is hereby authorized and empowered to redeem from application for tax deed any property upon which City of Orlando may have a lien which is subordinate and inferior to the lien for state and county taxes upon which such application is made and the amount paid for such redemption shall be and remain a lien against the property involved in the same manner and to the same extent that is now provided by law for tax certificates, and interest on the amount shall be recoverable against the property from the date of the redemption, and such lien together with accrued interest thereon may be enforced by foreclosure in chancery.
