§ 36. Centralized Purchasing System—Establishment.

The City Council of the City of Orlando, Florida shall establish by ordinance, a system of centralized purchasing for materials, equipment, supplies and all other items necessary for said City. Said ordinance shall designate a Director of Purchasing and Materials Management and shall prescribe methods and procedures governing the operation of such centralized purchasing system.
